At Black Monk Rosaries, we offer custom statuary that is crafted to meet your unique specifications. Each statue is carefully made with attention to detail and the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Production Timeline:

The process of creating your custom statue, from conception to completion, takes approximately five months.

 

Customer Requirements:

Customers must provide a reference picture for the project.

 

• All projects require prior approval.

​

• We reserve the right to reject any project

​

• We do not reproduce copyrighted statuary

​

• We only produce statues that are 40” or 100cm or taller

​

• International, Alaska, and Hawaii orders must receive a shipping quote before an order can be accepted

 

Production Process Overview:

​

1. Sculpting: The process begins with sculpting a clay model, which takes approximately three months.

2. Approval of Clay Model: Once the clay model is completed, we will send pictures for your approval. Any necessary changes can be requested at this stage.

3. Mold Creation: After approval, a one-time-use mold is made. This mold is used to cast the statue in fiberglass and is discarded after the casting process.

4. Fiberglass Casting: Once the statue is cast in fiberglass, we will send you a photo for your review before proceeding to the painting phase.

5. Final Approval: After the statue is hand-painted, we will send a final picture for your approval. The statue will not be shipped until it is fully approved.

6. Special Requests: If you require the statue by a specific date, please allow additional time in advance.

7. Shipping: Your statue will be fully insured during transit.

8. Payment Terms: A 75% deposit is required upfront, with the remaining 25% due when the statue is ready to ship.
